  2. I love this picture. Hysterical.
And yes, ding dong the meatwhistle is gone.

Meatwhistle is one hell of a term. I like it. – Pure Evyl

  3. Halle-freakin-lujah!

Ain’t that the truth. – Pure Evyl

  4. Yay! *does the happy dance!*

I’d like to see that. – Pure Evyl

  5. FUCK YEAH!! me and both my kids jumped off the couch and cheered! the joke is finally over!

It was certainly a cheer-worthy event. – Pure Evyl

  6. i must admit, i had to watch the entire show in pure anticipation. nothing could have pried me from my set until i saw the little pip voted off and crying. its cruel to take such joy in it – but still, i did. perhaps now, we could have some actual singing.

I wonder who vote for the worst is picking now. I saw on the news where the odds makers are giving two to one odds on Doolittle to win the whole thing. She would be my choice as well. She has the pipes and is a damned polished performer as well. I am just thinking that the humility bs is a fake as a three dollar bill. – Pure Evyl

  7. Of all the things that are happening in the world right now, can someone please explain why this particular event is getting so much attention?? I don’t get it!

Mindless crap to draw attention away from the shitpile of steaming crap surrounding the entire global socio-political scene these days. – Pure Evyl

  8. How do you guys get so excited about something that isn’t porn…
And if you would, let me reply to the previous comment.
There are in this world, countless atrocities. There always have been and there always will be. This is not to belittle those atrocities but it becomes a question of choice. Sometimes things happen that deeply affect a person. Often they are very close and undeniable. There is, though, still a choice to how we react. Being a “victim” is a choice as is being alive. I’m not saying people chose to be victimized but the response is a choice and being a victim is a response. One can be alive without living. One can also be defined by events in ones life or chose to define one’s self. It is easier to be a victim, to be traumatized by every event, because it only takes a reactive response without conscience effort.
Here is the thing. There are people in this world who not only are defined by their victimization; they use their “scars” as a weapon. The emotionally blackmail the people in their lives. They escape rationality with a veil of tears. “You can’t talk to me that way because I’m a victim…” They lay groundwork of eggshells. What’s more, they judge others on their own personal choice condemning others for not reacting as they do.
I’m not suggesting we be callous or unresponsive to events, but if we give up our choice to live as we see fit, then the madmen of this world are victorious…

You took the words out of my mouth except I would have thrown in about a dozen variations of the word fuck. – Pure Evyl

  9. What???? Why can’t people be completely GLOBAL in their blogs?
How dare people blog about stuff that goes on in their insignificant countries.

Me guessing that this is American Idol?????

America is not insignificant. It has been illegally occupying my country since 1865. – Pure Evyl

  10. um….and just now after reading the two comments before mine, just now…I realise I might be looking a little insensitive there. Um, i meant the American idol thing right. :)\

    Got ya. – Pure Evyl

  11. Sanjaya got more than his 15 minutes of fame – soon he will be a silly memory. Doolittle is certainly fated to win this year and it’s been obvious from the beginning.

I don’t know why people are so fascinated with this show – I got hooked last year – although this year I’m only really enjoying the complaining.

As to why all the noise – I think it’s just a way of letting off steam for all the other crap we can’t do anything about.

Insignificant as the subject of the post is, the post has received about double the usual comments. Says something, huh? – Pure Evyl

  12. Okay I still suck because I have never seen idol but…OMFG I had to laugh at my favorite prayer and favorite word combined. Simply brilliant. Glad you keep stopping by. Ali

I loved the visual at first glance. Glad you liked it as well. And I enjoy stopping by your place. You have one hell of a way with words. – Pure Evyl
